Review : Lip Bait - Shade Dough by Hanis Zalikha

Hello, girls! First of all, I would like to thanks, Rrai and @loveaa.my_ for choosing me as one of the winners of their giveaway. If you didn't know, I joined a giveaway before and the price was a beauty product which is matte lip cream. You know how popular matte lip cream right now, right? And on that giveaway, I had to share my random kindness that I had done before. Click [here] if you want to read my stories. What makes me feel surprised is that I'm not the one who experienced that scenario. The one that gave me this item was having the same experienced as me too! Know I can say that there's still a lot of good/kind person out there. Just because you heard the bad one, doesn't mean that there's no the good one. You know what I mean, right?

I'm done with the giveaway and now move to the review.

If I'm not mistaken, Hanis Zalikha did post on her Instagram asking her followers about how they want in matte lip cream either it is moisturising, long-lasting, something like that. Based on their feedbacks, she came out with her own lip cream named Lip Bait - Shade Dough by Hanis Zalikha. That might be one of the reasons why there's "Your quest is over" on the packaging. It's mean she has put all the thoughts together as one product, so genius! 👍

There are five (5) differents of shades to be chosen which are Pepper Posh, Rose Taffy, Sugar Icing, Berry Blanched and Creme Caramel.

Long-lasting matte lip cream + Vitamin C
  • Does not smudge
  • Does not crack
  • Does not disappoint

Hydrolyzed Candelilla Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Dimethicone, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Flavor, BHT, Methyl Paraben, Propylparaben, May contain : CI 77491, CI 42090, CI 77891, CI 77492

[My Thoughts]

I got mine in Sugar icing just like one of the favourite shades that I stated on the giveaway post. The moment I received this item, I felt so happy yet excited to try and make a review. Not gonna lie that the packaging it so gorgeous! It does look like the high-end beauty products to me, so pretty 💖

The first thing I did after I got these was  swatched at the back of my hand to see how good it is. What I can say is it is such a good product. It is so so pigmented and creamy. Then I applied it on my lips. It feels light just like I'm wearing nothing. Plus, it doesn't feel sticky at all and it really really moisturising. Before I forgot, these matte lip cream has a subtle scent, something like Vanilla I can say?

I decided to wear Sugar Icing on my lips when I went out yesterday. By only one stroke, it's already enough to apply your full lips. I even tried to put a bit in the centre on my lips (just like I'm wearing a lip tint) and blends it out afterwards still, it looks amazing. The remaining excess of the matte lip cream on my finger I did put it on my cheeks as a blusher. Bam! I fall in love with this lip cream already 💗 Yes, it can be used as a blusher too. You're surprised, right? Me too. I never heard someone who uses lip cream as their blusher other than lipstick, right?

I wore it for about 6 hours and it still there, on my lips but on the centre of my lips it faded a bit just because I eat and drinks during the time wearing it. It also transferred a bit to my straw when I drink, not a big deal actually cause it's normal. I think if I'm not eating or drinking, it will stay longer on lips.

As a conclusion, Lip Bait - Shade Dough by Hanis Zalikha is the best lip cream I've ever tried. It is pigmented, long-lasting, doesn't crack and it's a moisturising matte lip cream. You know what, can I say that this is my favourite makeup item out of my other makeup collection? 😉

Here's a picture of me wearing Sugar Icing. It's rare to see a picture of me on my blog, right? Haha

That's all for now. Aren't you excited to give it a try too? I really really recommend this Lip Bait - Shade Dough by Hanis Zalikha for you to try because it is such a great Malaysian products. I rated these matte lip cream 5/5. For RM 55 it's totally worth it! 💕

Colours of the Rainbow Tag

Hello, everyone! I just found a new tag that will be fun to try. It is a Colours of the Rainbow Tag. Basically, the rules of this tag are to get items that you own either it is beauty, fashion, whatever you want and match them to the corresponding colours of the rainbow. To make it more challenging, I decided to pick all the items in my room only and take a picture of each colour. If you interested to do this tag, free to pick any items wherever you want either your room, your house or everywhere.

I'm quite scared to do this tag just in case I didn't get to find certain items of colours since my room was all about pink and blue theme. But, I gonna search every single corner of my room to make it happen. Fighting! 💪

So I need to find the items in Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Pink, and Multicoloured. Let's see what I have here 😉

The red colour is already challenging to me because I don't own a lot of red items but I managed to get my red peel-off nail polish for this one. I did my nail polish collection post before, go [here] to check it out.

I can't find any orange items in my room. I want to pick my orange pen but it seems too easy for this kind of challenge so I picked up this shoe box that I put my notebooks and some stationaries in it. For your information, I love to organize my things according to the items so that's the reason why I have lots of boxes from differents sizes in my room. The moment I moved out to our new house, I'm the only one who has so many boxes. Haha 😉

This one is special to me eventhough it is just a pen. Why is it special? Because I bought these during my time in Singapore when I was 16. It is kind of souvenir so that I will always remember that I have been there before. I bought it 4 of them with different colours and gave them to my friends. Hope they still keep it until now.

This is Elianto Aloe Vera Gel that I bought early this year. At first, I bought it just for my sunburn then since I ran out of any moisturiser I use it as my daily face moisturiser. I love who it feels after using it, it doesn't feel sticky at all and the smell is good. But then I realized that after using it for few months, small pimples keep appearing on my face so I decided to stop and using it only for body moisturiser and after shave/wax gel.

This is the best blue colour item that I can found. I have lots of blue shirts/blouse but this one is easier to take the picture. Did you know how hard it is to find this book? I have been waited for quite a long time then my friend and I went to Kinokuniya, KLCC and found this. I know there's a movie of this book (I already watched it) but I found that it is better if I read because I know the complete stories and original of the book compares to the movie since there might be some parts that have been cut during the process. Same goes to any Malay novels too. OR I watch the drama without reading the book because I knew it is not the same as the original.

Eventhough violet/purple is one of my favourite colours but I don't have a lot of items with that colour. I picked this scarf that I bought at Masjid Jamek and it called Bawal Crepe. Back then Bawal Crepe is quite famous material and it is easy to work with.

Like I mentioned before, my room theme was blue and pink so I can say that I have lots of pink items in my room. The first one I picked is a holder that I bought at Mr. DIY. I used it as my stationaries holder where I put my pens, pencils, highlights, and more. Abd the second one is my bedside table where I put a vase with pink flowers and a lamp. All the items on my bedside table are from IKEA. I bet you noticed the flowers since it is everywhere on my blog pictures 😆

I told my cousin that I want to put fairy light in my room. Later, she asked me whether I already buy one or not and I answered not. Then she told me that she already bought one for me as a present for my birthday. The thing is I still not hanging it up because I still wondering where to put it and I think I might just put it around my head bed so it can just stay there without worrying if it falls. Doesn't it look pretty and cute? 😁

Too bad I can't find any Indigo items in my room. If not, of course, it will be complete rainbow colours 😞

That's all I have for now. It's had such a find time doing this tag. I tag Anis Nadhilah, Lenne Zulkiflly, Erin Azmir, Siqah Iqa and YOU who interested to do one. Have fun!

Thanks for reading! Xoxo

Review : Mediheal Cacao ADE Mask

Hello, readers! Actually, I already got this mask from Aynal Mansor long time ago after I on one of her giveaway and I still didn't use this mask just because it is a gift and also because I love it. You know what I mean, right? 😉 I think you figure out something that when I'm reviewing a new mask that is mean my skin is not in a good condition so I need something to make it feel better and I think only face mask or even mask can solve it.

For your information, this is my first time trying Mediheal products. I heard that they have lot of masks, you just name it. And it is good! So, I can't wait to give a try.

Mediheal Cacao ADE Mask

Mediheal Cacao ADE Mask is a skin purifying mask that changes your skin to be clean and soft. (I need those!) It's purifying effect with the cacao extract and coffee extract excellent for sebum control and pore tightening will be delivered to your skin just as it is.

They have few variants to choose according to your skin type;

  • Pomegranate : For elastic and moisturising skin

  • Kiwi : For fresh and trouble care skin
  • Cacao : Sebum control and organising skin texture
  • Lemonlime : Lightening skin
  • Acai berry : Tone up skin

[How To Use]

After washing your face, apply toner followed by the mask. Wait for about 15-20 minutes and pat the remaining essence.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Propylene Glycol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, SodiumHyaluronate, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Betaine, Triethanolamine, PEG-60 Hydronated Castor Oil, Carbomer, Allantoin, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Tocopheryl Acetate,Disodium EDTA, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance

★ This mask is for pore clean and skin texture.

My thoughts about this mask are it does the job. Once I applied it on my face it feels really really moisturising and I didn't feel any tingling effect at all like what the other masks did, which it good. The scent of cacao is not too strong just slightly. Not to mention, the sheet mask also different than others. It is thicker sheet mask and it has a pattern or design on the mask that makes it stay without any slipping down.

After 20 minutes wearing the mask, I took it off and rub the remaining essence on my face with my fingers until it fully absorbed. I was thinking to put moisturiser afterwards but it is already moisturised my skin just by wearing the mask! The next morning, I look at my face I noticed that my face didn't get oily at all plus it does minimise my pores. My face feels so smooth and clean.

I'm sorry that I can't state the price because it is a gift and I literally didn't know how much it is. Hope you don't mind bout it. Thanks for reading! 💕

Nail Polish Collection 💅

Hello, everyone! I still remember when I was young (I'm still young, okay! 😉) I always wanted to have shine nails. What I did before was,  I used a glue that has the same applicator as nail polish and applies it to my nails. You know how creative and naive you're when you're young and that already make me happy. To have a shine and pretty nails like what I saw from others.

And now when I started to grow up, I started to do something that I never tried before which is wear a nail polish. I still remember the first colour that I used was a transparent one. So that people won't know about it. I was scared that my parents would find out about it that's why I only use the transparent one. Back then, people were against wearing nail polish. But I think it is okay now as long as you clean them whenever you want to perform a prayer.

Everything changed now.

There are a lot of peel-off nail polish out there for you to try. But I can say that I collected only peel-off one and I only have one regular nail polish and it is a transparent one.As for me, I only wear them when it is the time of the month a.k.a period so I don't have to bother about peeling it off when I want to go to perform prayer. From a transparent, I started to try a coloured one.

So, here's are my small collections of nail polish 💅

As you can see from the picture, I have collected some of Peel-Off Nail Polish from BK as I found that it is the best peel-off nail polish that I ever tried. And the rest are from other brands like You You, Miss Anny and Magic Girl which is to me it was just so-so.

My nails before I put any nail polish. Not cute at all because I have a habit which I put the certain part of my blanket to my nails and sometimes it will cause bleeding too. Haha. Serve you right, Syaza!

Sorry for the small images, I don't want you to scroll down much just because of the images. But you can click on the image so that it will appear bigger. I have a transparent, natural and bold one and it is already enough for me. I don't think I will buy more in the future because as you can see I already owned few of it and the fact that I rarely wear them, it is better for me not to buy it again.

The price for each nail polish is different since I bought them at different places so it might be cheap and expensive. I can say that the range price is from RM 6 to RM 10 per bottle. If you're interested in trying, you better survey the most cheaper one so that you don't waste your money just like that.

I think that's all for now. Comment below if you want me to do a review about this nail polish. I'll do it for you if you want me too, okay? 😄 I already did one before but I think it is better if I do an update or better one this time. [Post : here]

Thank you for stopping by and reading my post. Xoxo

This is the most tiring one because I have to apply the nail polish on my nails, takes few pictures, peel it off (remove) then apply another one until it finish.

Reading Habits Book Tag

I was interested in doing this tag after reading Siqah Iqa's post.  I'm quite interested with this tag since it is all about your reading book habits. I used to read a lot and I still do, but not as many as before. It is all depends on my mood and feeling. You know what, I think I should go to a bookstore and find a new book to read to keep me reading.

Let's jump to the questions.

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

If there's a place for me to read at home it will be my bed. It is the most comfortable place ever since I can sit, lay down and everything when I'm reading.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Bookmark. It will look nicer than a piece of paper, I think. But if there's no bookmark at all, I will find any nice looking cards to mark my current page of reading.

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

I usually stop at a chapter so that I still remember the previous stories but I don't mind stop any pages too. You know, it depends on my mood during that time.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

I do eat when I'm reading but snacks only with extra careful so that it won't spill on my book. Who wants their book to be dirty, right?

5. Multitasking : Music or TV while reading?

Music. I can't do anything without listening to songs but still, sometimes it might be distracted too.

6. One book at the time or several at once?

I can't do several at once because I might be mixed up everything that I have read before. I prefer one book at once so that I can focus only on one book. It's funny that I can listen to songs when I'm reading but I can't read few books at once. Haha

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

Everywhere. I can read when I'm on a train, cafe, or somewhere else but not in the car because I had a bad experience before and it is the worst thing I ever did in my life. I had dizzy and throw up a bit because I read in the car on the not so straight road. Huh. But of course home will be the most comfortable place to read, right?

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Silently. It just better that way.

9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

Depends. I do skip pages if I found that it is not interesting to be read.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Keeping it like new. I usually don't like my book to be in the bad condition whatsoever.

11. Do you write in your book?

Major NO. I hate writing something in my book. Even if I have to, I will make sure that I write it nicely and clean.

I already answered all the questions. If you're interested in sharing your own version, please do one cause I would love to know yours. Thanks for reading! Xoxo
